Unreliable 04:45
Verse: Last night I thought back to what I said Couldn't help but blame it all on myself (Don't leave me alone, I'm so lonely at home) Don't know why I get so obsessed I always end up getting to damn depressed (Don't leave me alone, I'm so lonely at home) Please don't, please don't leave me I'm so, I'm so needy Please don't, please don't leave me I pull her closer but she's giving me her shoulder Verse: Last night as I waited for that text I couldn't help but be in a fucking mess (Don't leave me alone, I'm so lonely at home) Spent a whole week stuck inside my head Let myself get wrapped up with someone else (Don't leave me alone, I'm so lonely) Chorus: I told you that we were unreliable But you never learned, never learned

Convergence 06:30
Verse: Well maybe I'm stuck with symmetry Marry ups with downs But my lowest points are killing me Cuz I cannot contain The damage to the brain And it all feels the same Chorus: SOME WOULD SAY IT ONLY GETS BETTER, I THINK THAT'S A LIE Verse: Feed me dopamine To wash down the ice cream Fully saccharine It's on my tongue with everything Cuz I cannot contain The damage to the brain And it all feels the same Chorus: SOME WOULD SAY IT ONLY GETS BETTER, I THINK THAT'S A LIE Interlude: And I'm shaking Can't sustain me Is this pain or Something else? Verse: Can I escape reality? Is that the key to reach tranquility? Cuz nothing's gonna change The damage to the brain And we are all the same Chorus: SOME WOULD SAY IT ONLY GETS BETTER, I THINK THAT'S A LIE Outro: And I'm scared of this empty void I can't fill I can feel it devour me If I'm still And I'm shaking Can't sustain me Is this pain or Something else?

Pie 04:26
Is This What You Wanted From Me?
4.
Verse: I wish I could do something To help me change the light The ladders are all broken The deep blue from the evening Has transferred to my bedroom I'm sitting in the darkness wondering why Chorus: I'll leave it all behind Rejecting the complacency that Starts inside I'll run away tonight The only thing that stops me Is the hope it all gets better Verse: This house It shakes From silent Earthquakes The paint chips Come loose And fall from The ceiling The cold air It rips through From cracks in The windows I just Need to Leave With The Season Chorus: I'll leave it all behind Rejecting the complacency that Starts inside I'll run away tonight The only thing that stops me Is the hope it all gets better
5.
Chorus: All my friends, are dying out Muted and silent Fighting for no one's sake Verse: You're just like shadows (floating without reason) Vapor made to follow Forgotten disappearing Out of sight of the demons (that drag you behind that) Death comes surprised To see you're already waiting Chorus: All my friends, are dying out Muted and silent Fighting for no one's sake Verse: Drowning in voices (lungs filled with their life) Support until bursting But you will hold it in maintaining Your face of comfort When your death comes closer You're already there But I lack the hands to pull you up Bridge: Didn't you dream to move the Earth? And not grow old in a tomb? You'll look for answers not knowing why You'll miss your true self pass you Craft a mess of distorted lies Cement your logic, you won't deny (Didn't you dream and not grow old?) (Didn't you dream and not grow old?) (Didn't you dream and not grow old?) (Didn't you dream and not grow old?)

about

“Leave With the Season” was born from the frustration we feel as we navigate the social scenes of Brooklyn. Sometimes we cannot be sure if we can trust our emotions, our friends, or the city we live in since all these things inevitably fail us in one way or another.

I find myself manifesting a culture I dislike - a culture of always searching for the most one can get out of another person or an experience. Utilitarianism guides the way we pick our friends and the way we spend our days and evenings, and yet, when we are unhappy, we start to hope that everything around us will change to accommodate us. When this doesn’t happen and we’re left with the same mundane lives, we can’t help but feel scorned, even if we've put no effort into changing ourselves.

This cathartic EP is best listened to with headphones as you make your way around town in the cold.
